meet Lotte Cobbaert
my story
Lotte Cobbaert is the founder of studioloco. She holds a master’s degree in Interior Architecture and an additional degree in Furniture Design. Her fascination lies in the meeting point between function and emotion.
For Lotte, design is about creating objects and environments that tell a story, pieces that invite curiosity and make everyday life more special. After studying both spatial design and craftsmanship in depth, she sought to bring those worlds together by designing furniture that not only fits a space but also defines it.
studioloco was born from that idea: a place where thoughtful design meets a playful spirit, and every piece is created with purpose, personality, and a touch of surprise.

We don’t believe design should be quiet. At studioloco, we create objects with attitude. Playful, honest, and full of life.
Our work combines strong shapes, natural materials, and a touch of the unexpected. Each piece is made with care and built to last, not to disappear in a trend cycle.
We produce locally and responsibly, using recyclable materials, and only make what’s needed. Because for us, good design is joyful, conscious, and never boring.
